Steph Gennaro is my pen name I use for all of my Cozy Mysteries in Japan. I'm a long-time Japanophile, and I have been studying the culture and language for over 20 years. When I decided to write cozy mysteries, I thought, “Wouldn't it be great to have them take place in Japan?” I spend a lot of my free time watching Japanese TV, reading Japanese books, and traveling to Japan, so it only seemed natural.
That's how the Miso Cozy Mysteries Series was born!
The Miso Cozy Mysteries Series is complete with 5 novels and 2 novellas. I plan to write a spin-off series sometime in 2022.
In my other life, I write science fiction romance under the name S. J. Pajonas, and I freelance web design and develop as my business, Bokufish.
